Drift End Cottage ~ Holiday cottage overlooking Minsmere RSPB

Sleeps 4 (2 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms)
'A warm welcome, lovely cottage and great location, plus marsh harrier fly-past, set the scene for a wonderful week discovering this lovely bit of Suffolk.' Pauline and John, Somerset
Drift End Cottage, refurbished with style and to a high standard, is a quiet, very comfortable semi-detached period property on the edge of the small village of Eastbridge in Suffolk, and close to Minsmere RSPB Bird Reserve, with stunning, uninterrupted views over meadows and marshes towards the sea.
The cottage itself is tucked away down a farm track, which joins a footpath leading down to the coast, one and a half miles away, and Minsmere is also within walking distance. You might hear the bitterns boom, and see marsh harriers, geese, barn owls and more from your own doorstep!
The area is perfect for birdwatching, walking, cycling and painting. It offers concerts (Snape Maltings), crabbing (Walberswick), boats galore (Southwold, Orford), pretty coastal towns with individual shops and galleries, and perhaps the best fish and chips (Dunwich, Aldeburgh)! Nearer to hand, the local village pub also serves food.
The cottage is very well equipped throughout and all linen and heating is included. The sitting room has a woodburning stove for winter evenings, and the conservatory and private garden have long views over the countryside. The large kitchen/dining room leads to a utility area and shower room. The first floor has two double bedrooms and bathroom with bath and wc.
No smoking. Sorry, no pets.
